A story-based therapeutic approach for men and women
By exploring the unique details of your story, we guide men and women from brokenness to freedom so they can pursue the lives they long for.
Why your story matters far more than you could imagine
Like stones dropped into a pool, our past wounds and trauma have a way of “rippling” into our present lives. Though we may not even realize it, our stories deeply shape our thoughts, actions, and relationships.
To cope with the pain we experience in our formative years, we often develop protective strategies—whether by numbing ourselves to avoid feeling or by trying to earn the love, acceptance, and connection we deeply crave.
For some, this might look like numbing through sex, alcohol, screens, workaholism, or simply shutting down emotionally. For others, it might manifest as perfectionism, people-pleasing, anger, or loneliness.
It doesn’t have to be this way. Change is possible.

What is Story Work?
There’s an old saying, “If you don’t deal with your story, your story will deal with you.”
Our stories, childhoods, and families are foundational to how we see and understand ourselves, others, God, and the world around us.
And yet, many of us have never taken the time to explore how those powerful, formative experiences may be hindering us in our relationships, work, and life.
Narrative Focused Trauma Care, often referred to as "Story Work," is a therapeutic approach that invites you to explore your story with curiosity and kindness, so that you can experience greater healing, hope, and flourishing.
